The Technical Assistance Staff will be in charge of organising workshops on audiovisual policies and disseminate the results of the studies carried out to reinforce the Mediterranean audiovisual sector.
The Technical Assistance will disseminate diagnostic and recommendations issued from the studies. The dissemination will be realised through publication on the Euromed Audiovisual website and on the Euromed Audiovisual newsletter.
Furthermore the Technical Assistance will organise 8 workshops of two days each, gathering MEDA public stakeholders to discuss the results of the studies, to exchange best practices and to stimulate opportunities for possible reforms in the Mediterranean audiovisual policies.
These workshops will focus on specific sectors of the audiovisual field: protection of intellectual property rights, fight against piracy, establishment of professional legal frameworks for distribution, exhibition, co-production, establishment or reinforcement of professional association.
The dissemination of results and the private - public dialogue will be maintained with and between the MEDA stakeholders beyond the workshops through continuous exchanges of information, in particular through the Euromed Audiovisual website and specific information products (newsletter, special Euromed Audiovisual II issues).
