Access is a nine month training programme project which benefits to Mediterranean producers in the areas of financing, marketing, distribution and legislation. Access uses the new technologies applied to audiovisual training, thus implementing two residential workshops and one training module online including, among others, podcasts by experts and professionals. Each residential workshop includes plenary sessions, tutorials, one-to-one meetings, case studies and networking activities.

 ACCESS 2013

Up to 23 producers from the South Mediterranean region are to take part in the 2013 edition of Access to Markets in the Digital Era. Over the course of three training modules to take place between March and October this year, they are to develop their feature or documentary film projects, and learn more about funding, marketing, distribution, and the legal aspects of the business.

The selected projects and participants are:

 

First residential module: March 19-24, 2013 - Ronda, Spain

The first training module gave participants tools about project development techniques, financing, co-financing and coproduction, legal affairs, deal terms and negociation skills.

Second module online: June 2013

The second training module (virtual training module) enabled participants to work with their tutors/mentors to further develop their financing plans, conclude their coproduction strategy develop a web presence...

 

Third residential module: September 24-28, 2013 in Casablanca (Morocco)

The third residential module focused on marketing, distribution and digital media, and more specifically on how to devise a marketing and distribution plan, how to devise a promotion and festival strategy and how to identify sales agents, buyers and commissioning editors.
