DOCmed brings together documentary professionals from the Maghreb and Middle East countries to participate in a training scheme consisting of three sessions that follow and support the development of specific projects for a period of 12 months. Ten professionals with a documentary project are selected each year.

1st module (open to producers and directors): analysis of the participants' projects in terms of writing and development;

2nd module (open only to producers): Financing and budgets, production methods, packaging, co-production and identification of partners. This module will be realised in parallel with the Eurodoc training session (training programme financed by the MEDIA Programme and aimed at European professionals;

3rd module (open to producers): pitching to commissioning editors

• Eligible are the producers and/or directors/producers of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.
• DOCmed will privilege the applications from producers, but may as well select directors who take in charge the production of their projects by themselves.
• Applicants must submit a complete application form (synopsis, treatment, production strategy, budget, CV of the director and producer, company profile, DVD of previous works, letter of motivation).
