Brand new report on on the film and audiovisual sector in Morocco released by Euromed Audiovisual and the European Audiovisual Observatory
This report provides a comprehensive overview of the various economic aspects of the audiovisual sector in Morocco (television, on-demand services, film), and also provides a description of the institutional and regulatory framework and of telecommunication infrastructures (DTT, IPTV, broadband networks, mobile telephone). It provides data on the different aspects of the sector and draws on information collected from public bodies, professional organizations, private sources and the press.

Studies on support to film production and distribution now online
Both studies were commissioned by the Euromed Audiovisual programme's Financing Working Group, a group of film professionals who last met this January in Lebanon and who are working on recommendations for a new regional financing mechanism to improve film production and co-production in the South Mediterranean.

Legal database: latest updates in Algerian law available online
The legal database for audiovisual professionals, developed under the second phase of Euromed Audiovisual programme, has been updated to include the latest changes in Algerian law and will soon have a new section with models of contract clauses.

In the study, Lucas Rosant, a specialist in international markets, reveals tendencies in co-production in the South Mediterranean region, covering a total of 221 surveyed co-productions in the region's 9 countries, including post-production works, from 2006 to 2011.

This study was done by Lucas Rosant (Dubai Film Connection coordinator and match-makers in numerous international markets), and concerns 221 co-productions that took place between 2006 and 2011 (including works in progress).
