The Media Business School has announced that the training initiative Access to Markets in the Digital Era (Access) has been selected as one of six projects funded by the Euromed Audiovisual Programme III.
Access is a project-based training initiative that will benefit 25 independent film and documentary producers from countries around the southern Mediterranean basin. This unique initiative is made-up of two residential training workshops and an online training period.
Access will address all areas of the filmmaking process from development, financing, co-production, legal issues and deal terms through to marketing, distribution and digital media (digital distribution, social media, online advertising and marketing, new business models and exploitation of digital media platforms), as well as the pitching forum.
Access aims to reinforce and support the creation of the sustainable Mediterranean industry by enabling producers in the region to be stronger in their markets and more competitive in the global market.
