The goal of Crossroads is to support the producers of feature-length fiction film projects that contain a link to the Mediterranean and Balkan regions.
Send your project to Crossroads and you could be picked to take part in the second Crossroads Co-production Forum on 23-25 November – under the auspices of the 47th Thessaloniki International Film Festival on 17-26 November 2006.
Crossroads was launched successfully in Thessaloniki last year, bringing together a selection of projects with a group of renowned experts and buyers.
Producers of 27 projects were selected to meet a group of 50 partners from Europe and the US – among them representatives from companies such as Zentropa, Alliance Atlantis and the BBC. A total of 250 individual meetings took place – underlining the success of the event in creating an atmosphere of collaboration among producers and partners.
To qualify for Crossroads, projects should already have a producer and a developed script, in English or French. But the projects can be at any stage of production. Projects must also contain a link to the Mediterranean or the Balkans. They should either be produced or co-produced by a Mediterranean/Balkan country or have a storyline that is strongly related to the regions.
For further information and application forms see:

The deadline for the presentation of projects is 30 September.
Selected producers will be offered flights and full accommodation for the three days of the event.
