Submissions open for the 13th Brussels Mediterranean Film Festival

The 13th Brussels Mediterranean Film Festival is to take place from December 5 to 12, 2013. Submissions are now open.

The festival is to screen fiction films and documentaries from the following Mediterranean countries: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, LebanonLibya, Macedonia, Malta, Morocco, Montenegro, Palestine, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, SyriaTunisia, and Turkey.

Feature-length fiction and documentary films completed after January 1, 2012 can be submitted. Each film must be produced by a Mediterranean country, the director must come from a Mediterranean country, or the film must deal with Mediterranean issues. 

The following screening formats are eligible for inclusion: DCP, 35mm, Betacam Digit, or Blu-Ray. Please be aware that if a film doesn’t exist on DCP, it cannot be screened in the competition.

The film should be in its original version, with French or English subtitles.
