The PriMed, International Festival for Mediterranean Documentary and Current Affairs film is an international competition that takes place every year since 1994. It is designed for audiovisual productions in the specific area of documentary films, current affairs and investigation films dealing with issues of cultural Mediterranean area from the Atlantic coast to the shores of the Black Sea.
For its 16th edition which took place from 6 to 9 December 2011 in Marseille (France), PriMed juries awarded the following prizes:
Recently, PriMed launched a new website: http://primed.tv/?lang=en
The CMCA, Mediterranean Centre for Audiovisual Communication in Marseille, the main organizer of the event, has decided to create this new website to better present the actions of promotions of PriMed’s films all year long. The captivating graphic design and the extreme facility of use guarantee a user-friendly navigation, in a Mediterranean style.
New technologies for integration of image and video, in line with the current development of web-documentaries, allowed to give more space for videos and to develop a new communication strategy based on visual communication.
The home page of the website presents news and events about PriMed with a slideshow. The navigation bar offers direct access to static content (History, Partners, Date and place of projected films in competition, Jurys, Contact).
A Press Room has also been set up to offer easily information about press releases with a video gallery of all reports made by TV broadcaster during the previous editions.
