On the occasion of a roundtable consultation held on January 24 in Tunis, the Euromed Audiovisual III of the European Union initiates a discussion between all the players in the film and audiovisual sector on the actions needed to strengthen creation, production and distribution.
The roundtable consultation aims to evaluate the present situation and the prospects for the film and audiovisual sector in Tunisia through the Euromed Audiovisual Programme III, funded by the European Union. During the roundtable, the following topics will be discussed:
This round table in Tunis will gather together officials in charge of the film and audiovisual sector from public institutions and embassies involved in the audiovisual sector, as well as private operators of the sector (directors, producers, distributors, representatives of film schools, associations, unions, public and private television channels and festivals).
As part of the Euromed Audiovisual Programme III, Tunisia benefits from the following projects: ACCESS for market access in the digital age (Partner: Sud Ecriture Scenario), DOCmed for the training of documentary professionals (Partner: Association Ness El Fen), Med Film Factory for the training of directors and producers (partner: Sud Ecriture Scenario), DIA SUD MED for workshops and meetings to develop crossmedia projects (partner: Institut Supérieur des Arts Multimédia de la Manouba ISAMM) TERRAMED Plus promoting Mediterranean programs broadcast by public televisions and Green House for the development of documentary films made by graduates of film schools in the southern Mediterranean.
