Participate in the creativity workshop organised by the Caravan of Euro-Arab Cinema in Ismailia, Egypt.

The Caravan of Euro-Arab Cinema is one of the promotion projects of the regional EU-funded “Euromed Audiovisual II Programme” to enhance MEDA-region audiovisual culture and industry.

Within the framework of the Ismailia International Film Festival (15-22 September 2006), the Caravan now invites applications for a creative documentary workshop on the topic “The Self and the City”.

All young film-makers aged 18 to 22 coming from MEDA countries and territories are invited to submit applications, subject to a good knowledge of English and/or French in addition to Arabic and good knowledge of the use of digital cameras (mini DV) and of non-linear editing.

The workshop will cover the art of telling stories from script to camera work and the editing process. The expected outcome of the workshop is a series of 20 documentaries 5 to 15 minutes long.
