Lebanese scriptwriters, apply for workshop in Beirut!

The Fondation Liban Cinema-FLC, in collaboration with the Institut Français du Liban and the Delegation of the European Union, and with the active support of Beirut Creative Cluster, are looking for Lebanese scriptwriters/directors for a five-day workshop on script rewriting for fiction feature films to be held in Beirut, Lebanon, in December 2012.

During the workshop, two scriptwriters, whose names will be announced in October, will carry out individual sessions with five Lebanese directors and/or scriptwriters and offer them advice and guidance in the process of rewriting their scripts in order for them to make their scripts more complete and more appealing to international producers. A follow-up session will be organised six months later.

This initiative complements Euromed Audiovisual III activities, and responds to key recommendations put forward by Lebanese film and audiovisual professionals during the round table organised by Euromed Audiovisual in Beirut, on January 20, 2012.
