Dia Sud Med sets young entrepreneurs on their way
In Beirut, experts discussed starting up a business with ten audiovisual students
Grant Project Activities, Lebanon
From June 5 to 20, the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) invited ten audiovisual students to discuss their business ideas with experts.
The event was held as part of the Euromed Audiovisual-supported Dia Sud Med programme.
Roger Khattar, auditor and certified accountant, discussed the legal ramifications of different types of companies, taxes, and social security.
Financial analyst Rabih Pierre Nassar analysed a project and its chances of success.
Marketing specialist Mazen Moussawer discussed promoting a business to a target audience.
Professional trainer Roland Najm stressed the importance of presenting oneself with conviction and charisma.
He also helped students finalise their business plans on paper, before a final presentation.
